AmeriLife

What lead sources does AmeriLife use?

There are five primary types of programs used to keep our agents busy:
  • Direct Mail: Responses vary by product, but generally provide a 1-3% response rate through mail outs and business reply cards
  • Billing Inserts: With special inserts in utility bills, etc., AmeriLife purchases leads interested in specific types of products
  • Turning 65 Program: Targeting seniors turning 65 years of age within the next 6 months, AmeriLife uses multiple mediums to target and reach out to this key target customer base
  • Seminar Leads: Using mail and newspaper ads, prospects are invited to attend luncheon seminars where we collect demographic and interest information to set-up appointments following the educational seminar
    • Over 10,000 churches are contacted regularly to schedule monthly Church Seminars
    • Over 200 luncheon seminars are hosted each month with 100% of their marketing expense paid for by AmeriLife & Health Services
  • Print Advertising: Traditional advertising mediums are used to encourage seniors to respond by visiting a website or calling a toll free phone number for more information and to request that an agent contact them
  • Television Advertising: Television commercials are also used to reach the senior demographic, encouraging them to call a toll free number or visit a website for more information
In addition to these lead initiatives, appointments are set on a regular basis by AmeriLife telemarketing representatives at local and regional call centers. Complying with Federal, state, and corporate regulations, AmeriLife uses targeted lists to try to reach those people it can help the most.

How does AmeriLife manage leads?

AmeriLife Career Agencies are implementing the Microsoft® Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for effective lead management. CRM is a web-based application that enables each AmeriLife office to access their lead database, while allowing General Managers to also assign and monitor leads at the agent level. From cost per lead to sales conversion rates, cost per sale and individual agent performance, lead initiatives are tracked and evaluated on an ongoing basis to ensure only the most effective programs are being used.
